Introducing Gandalf's sword, Glamdring
Glamdring, Gandalf's legendary sword in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit , is a majestic weapon, steeped in history and power. Forged in Gondolin, the ancient elven city, it belonged to Turgon, King of Gondolin, before being lost for centuries.
Discovered by Gandalf in a troll cave alongside Orcrist and Sting, Glamdring became the wizard's weapon of choice. Its elven blade, adorned with elegant runes, glows with a bluish light in the presence of orcs, a sign of its connection to the Elves and its magical nature.
Glamdring, nicknamed "the Striker" by enemies, embodies Gandalf's power and wisdom. She is wielded with remarkable skill, combining brute force and magic. A symbol of the fight against darkness, Glamdring accompanies Gandalf on his quests, becoming a silent witness to his battles to preserve freedom in Middle-earth.
